For those riding the trail near Cohen Road where it crosses NYS land be aware that the logging access road has been plowed and there may be truck traffic.

When crossing at the corner of Purinton Road and Stone Bridge Road be aware electric fence has been strung and you must ride along the shoulder of Stone Bridge Road.

Watch out for the gas pipes when headed south on the trail right after crossing Northern Pines Road in Wilton. Without enough snow cover they can cause damage to your sled. Be sure and drive around them.

Our groomers have been out Wednesday, Thursday & yesterday. Trails are in great shape. After the recent snowfall and cold temps a base has been established with plenty of snowcover throughout the wooded areas. We've seen lots of traffic on the trails so glad we are finally able to enjoy them! As always stay on the trail and be respectful of our landowners.

With the most recent snowfall this no longer seems to be a problem but just be aware the pipes are there. Also, for those crossing Northern Pines Road to Gansevoort Wilton Road headed East please be respectful of the Landowner on the corner and do not gun your engines or ride agressively. We have had reports of sleds going through in the wee hours of the morning waking up those in the nearby homes. We will be posting the area with “Quiet” signs but in the meantime take it easy when passing by.

Groomers are out again tonight, remember they have the right of way, pull to the side and let them pass. Western side of the trail system is in fair condition, not as much snow so watch out for rocks when going up the mountain towards Corinth from Route 9.

Groomers were out again Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights. With the high traffic volume and no fresh snow trails are getting beat down. Covering in the woods and corners is getting bare. Stay off the throttle when rounding those corners there is just so much that the groomers can accomplish.

Our Groomers have been out Thursday and Friday grooming the trails from Route 9 in Wilton East to Route 29 in Schuylerville. Conditions are excellent. The trails from Route 9 West to Corinth were groomed late last night. There has been heavy logging on the State Forest portion of the trail so road has been plowed and conditions for riding are less than optimum. We expect a lot of traffic this weekend so stay on the trail and ride safe!
If you see our Groomer Operators while you're out and about be sure and let them know what a nice job they are doing. They have put in many hours keeping the trails in such fabulous condition. These folks volunteer their time so you can enjoy our trails.

Lots of riders on the trails yesterday and a couple more inches of snow. Trails are in need of grooming but need to wait for the temps to go down as it's too warm to be out there. More snow in the forecast and temperatures predicted to drop so groomers will be out later in the week. Hope you are enjoying the ride this year!

Watch out for drifting. Winds have been strong and Groomers are doing their best to keep up but the drifts are still popping up here and there.

Groomers were out Thursday and Friday knocking down the drifts. Forecast is for warmer weather and possible rain in the coming week, so enjoy the ride while you can!

Please stay off the trails until it cools down again. Although it may be tempting you will ruin any hopes of preserving the trails for a few weeks longer.

Thank you for staying off the trails. With the warm temps and wind we lost a lot of our base. Our Groomers will be out this morning trying to salvage whats left. Watch out for the icy spots and take it easy on the corners and the woods where trail cover is thin. We're trying to preserve what we can for a few more weeks of riding as long as the temperatures stay down. Conditions are not optimal but rideable.

With 9″+ of fresh snow coating the trails we are set for a nice weekend of riding. Our groomers will be out smoothing the drifts. If you take it easy on the corners and through the woods conditions should be good. Watch out for ice patches under the snow. Enjoy!

Groomers had to turn back this morning, snow was too deep and too heavy causing them to get stuck. Right now there is plenty of snow cover but it's rough riding. They'll try again tonight after it gets packed down some more. Keep in mind our Groomers have the right of way, pull to the side until they pass.

Groomers were out this afternoon. Groomed from the Schuylerville monument to Route 9 in Wilton. Watch out for ice on the corners and icy spots in the fields caused by all the rain we received yesterday, otherwise the trails are in nice shape.

Groomers were out earlier in the week but now that the temperature is warming take it easy on the trails so we can get a bit more riding on them. With rain forecasted tomorrow we will be closing the trails in hopes of salvaging what may be left.

Trails have been reopened. With all the fresh snow we received on Monday and the cold temps our season has been extended. Conditions will not be optimum as we will not be grooming because the temperature is not cold enough. Watch out for the many ice and water spots throughout the trail and stay on the trail no matter how tempting it might be to take a side trip.
